For the 2016 Fringe, Sex T-Rex went Post-Apocalyptic with the Radio-Action packed WASTELAND!
Winner of the Second City Award for Most Outstanding Comedy, Wasteland enjoyed a triumphant three-night remount in November 2016 on the main stage of Toronto’s own Comedy Mecca.
In a world where survival is too much to hope for and warlords, mutants and cannibals are the only ones who sleep at night, no sane person could hope to find happiness.
Thankfully, Ernest is far from sane.
A talking dog by his side and a song in his heart, he’ll face a road-trip of trials to find a touch of grace in civilization’s irradiated ruins. With lunatic fight scenes, rubber-burning car chases, and a soupçon of philosophical navel gazing, Wasteland brings nuclear Armageddon to life, live on stage.

CultMTL – “Another joyful romp […] Wielding props creatively crafted almost exclusively from foam pipe-insulation tubes, the actors engage in a series of fast-paced and skillfully choreographed fight scenes with plenty of comic relief.”

Montreal Rampage review – “This troupe put up an awesome show, with some amazing talented actors and fantastically hilarious narrative […] This was one of my favorite forays at Fringe this year.”
Curtains Up – “Hysterical and wildly creative […] Wasteland is a fun ride that never slows down.”
